Submit a Community Event

The City of Lincoln is welcoming submissions for community events taking place within Lincoln.

Submissions must be received at least one week before the event date to allow time for review and posting. Please note that submitting an event does not guarantee it will be added to the City calendar. City staff may edit submissions for clarity, formatting, length, or consistency with City communication standards.

Events should be open to the public and generally relevant to the Lincoln community.

The City generally considers calendar submissions for events that are open to the public, located within Lincoln, and of community interest. The City reserves the right to decline submissions that are incomplete, submitted less than one week in advance, commercial in nature without a clear public benefit, inconsistent with City policies, or unrelated to the Lincoln community.
